HALF-DAY RETREATS

Intensive insight meditation practice can help foster wisdom, compassion, equanimity and loving-kindness. A retreat with others may also energize and deepen mindfulness, as well as help to strengthen a sense of sangha (community of spiritual friends).

To sign up for one of Mark and Veletta Gebert's regular half-day insight meditation retreats, you can join our Meetup.com group for info on the address, dates and times, etc., or join the Roswell Insight Meditation Meetup Group.

About the retreats
Schedule permitting, Mark Gebert, an organizer and facilitator of Sandy Springs Insight Meditation, leads monthly, half-day meditation retreats for those wishing to deepen their mindfulness practice. Mark is a dharma leader and co-organizer of Roswell Insight Meditation Community.

The location is a private residence in an ideal setting for meditation and a great place to enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia mountains. All you need to bring is the willingness to unplug from your hectic life for a few hours. Meditation cushions and chairs are provided.
